We do not reproduce full articles. We compile facts, translate where useful, and add our own context, summary, and practical guidance for international travelers — under the fair-use principle of Korean Copyright Act Article 28 (right of citation) and Article 35-5 (fair use).

The Seoulist는 한국 언론사(KBS, MBC, JTBC, 연합뉴스 등)의 보도를 인용합니다. 모든 글에는 원본 출처와 직접 링크를 명시합니다. 우리는 기사 전문을 복제하지 않습니다. 우리는 사실을 정리하고, 필요한 부분을 번역하며, 외국인 여행자를 위한 자체 맥락·요약·실용 가이드를 추가합니다 — 대한민국 저작권법 제28조(인용)와 제35조의5(공정이용) 원칙에 따릅니다.

Verified requests are reviewed and responded to within 48 hours. Where the request is valid, we will:

  • Correct the article (rephrase, shorten the citation, strengthen attribution), or 글 정정 (재작성, 인용 축소, 출처 강화), 또는
  • Remove the article entirely from the Site and request its removal from search engine caches. 글 전면 삭제 및 검색엔진 캐시 제거 요청.

We will confirm the action taken via email reply.

If we determine that a takedown request does not have a valid basis (e.g., the cited material is purely factual public information not subject to copyright, or the citation falls clearly within fair-use limits), we will explain our reasoning in writing and the Site may continue to host the content. The requesting party retains the right to pursue formal legal channels.
