What it is

The World Tour is the ISU's international circuit of short track meets. Its 2026/27 calendar, published on April 27, 2026, runs the tour stops from October 2026 to February 2027, with Seoul in late November.

The Seoul meet brings skaters from many countries to one rink over three days, STN Sports reported on October 22. If you cannot get a seat, SBS and the streaming platform Chzzk (치지직) will carry the main races live, according to the same report and CBS Nocut News.

Who to watch

CBS Nocut News, in a report published on October 22 at 15:11, listed the Korean skaters set to compete:

  • Women: Kim Gil-li and Choi Min-jeong.
  • Men: Lee Jung-min and Kim Tae-sung of the national team.

Tickets and booking

According to STN Sports, the sales channel depends on who is buying. Korean buyers go through Naver Reservation, while foreign buyers are pointed to Ticketlink. We could not find a direct foreign-buyer page, so start from the Korea Skating Union's notice and follow its link rather than searching for a ticket page yourself.

  • Prices: Ignore any figure quoted online until the federation posts its own.
  • Resale: Buy only through the official channels. Our ticket-scam guide explains the warning signs, and they apply to sports tickets too.
  • Timing: If you have a fixed date in mind, watch the notice for when the seat map goes live.

How to get there

Search for the Hangul name, 목동실내빙상장, in Naver Map or KakaoMap to get transit directions from where you are staying. Pay subway and bus fares with a T-money card or the Climate Card.

Our verdict

Go if you are in Seoul that weekend and want a live sport that is fast, short and easy to follow without knowing the rules. The trade-off is booking without a price or seat map, so wait for the notice unless a set date matters to you. If November does not work, Seoul also hosts the ISU Short Track World Championships on March 12–14, 2027, per the ISU calendar.
